Stay connected
Environmental educators in the South Sound are doing some of the most important work of our time, yet too often, we’re stretched thin. Many of us are spread thin and feeling disconnected, watching funding disappear, programs shrink, and jobs become uncertain. The very stability of our work feels fragile, and behind that fragility lies a greater fear: if our voices go unheard, if our efforts aren’t supported, what will become of the environment we’re all striving to protect?
a different way forward
Eco-Net exists to change this. We believe that when educators come together—sharing resources, uplifting each other, and collaborating instead of competing—we create resilience. We defy the scarcity mindset and build a thriving, connected community of practice.
Right now, Eco-Net offers regular meetings and an active listserv where educators can find connection and support. Soon, we’ll expand to offer professional development opportunities, regional demographic mapping, shared messaging, and resource libraries—tools designed to help educators do more with less, without burning out.
an invitation
This is a pivotal moment for our field. We can’t afford to face it alone. Together, we have the power to lift each other up, to protect the natural world, and to inspire lasting change in our region.
Eco-Net is more than a network—it’s a movement of educators, communicators, and advocates who refuse to let scarcity, burnout, or isolation define our work. Here, your voice matters. Your efforts matter. And your presence strengthens the whole.
Bring your passion, your wisdom, and your hope to Eco-Net. Together, we can root ourselves in connection, grow stronger through collaboration, and build the future we believe in.

Eco-Net connects you to a vibrant, collaborative community of educators, advocates, and organizations working for a sustainable future.
By joining and using this Listserv, you agree that you have read and will follow the guidelines.
